West Elm Couch Cleaning

A feminist show

I show I like very much. Not one of those who see them all and they know by heart the entire schedule of the various networks and when it comes out a new series. In fact, never been able to follow a series from start to finish on TV without losing a point because in general are not very accustomed to watching TV, and plan my evenings on the basis of 'what harm tonight'. But since they've released the DVD started to get interested in the series in first 've seen occasional episodes, and that intrigued me. What is the best way to follow them: do you see when you fall asleep and if you think you can pick up where you left, the next time.
The first series I followed in this way was " FRIENDS", I think they know more or less. These four friends living in Manhattan and where things happen more or less normal, that happens to everyone in that age group, but told in a fun and stuffed with characters and situations really ingenious.
The second series is "The Sopranos . The story of an Italian-American mafia family of New Jersey. And 'nothing short of a masterpiece, rich characters, intertwined stories that leave you always wanted to go ahead with fne an episode ... Needless to say, for us it was like a drug. We started when I was pregnant, we went forward more and more we wanted to see him. Every night we spent at home devouring episodes, until we got to the last series and the end of pregnancy. Missed a few episodes and a few days after the due date. We wondered if we would have had time to see the last episode, because we knew that if we had not seen before the birth we would not have seen more. In short, the night I had contractions, which are then stata ricoverata, abbiamo cenato con calma e visto l'ultima puntata.

Now is the time for "ALIAS . I had seen several episodes many years ago, and despite there I understood much of the story is already complex enough (imagine watching random episodes and especially without having seen the first series) fascinated me a lot. The main character is Sydney Bristow, a young woman but not a single woman in New York who loves fashion and trendy night spots like the friends of "Sex and the City", nor a desperate housewife as the protagonists of "Desperates Housewives." No, she is a CIA agent, indeed a double-agent , ie one that does the duplicity with a terrorist organization called SD-6 in order to destroy it ... and it only goes in a double life, including a model student and lagnosetta little soap and water (definitely Pallosa) and travel around the world with really cool costumes and shots of Kick Boxing. I've always been fascinated by the idea that it was really a woman protagonist, those costumes and wigs and dresses (it's actually much prettier in disguise that the natural, I think it wanted to underline his double life) and those gadgets that I have always I never dreamed and dared to ask, such as cameras hidden in lipstick, sunglasses very fashion that actually conceal cameras a infrarossi, orecchini che sono in realtà apparecchi elettronici sofisticatissimi, e così via. In più lei parla fluentemente tutte le lingue (quando capita l'italiano è da ridere), è esperta di informatica ed elettronica, e anche con cose mediche se la cava molto bene. In più la classe e l'eleganza nelle lotte corpo a corpo è la ciliegina sulla torta (sono stata appassionata di Kick Boxing e l'ho praticato fino a che sono rimasta incinta... purtroppo è l'unica cosa che mi manca davvero da quando sono diventata mamma ma magari fra qualche anno riprenderò!). Ma alla fine della prima serie il colpo di scena che mi convince del tutto: - a questo punto chi avesse intenzione di vederlo beginning perhaps would do well not to read beyond - for many point the enemy is an organization that wants to sabotage the SD-6, led by a diabolical character and stranger called The Man . The surprise is that the last episode The Man is actually the mother of Sydney, who died when she was only 6 years. Well, now tell me who is not a feminist show!

Day Against Violence Against Women

Today is the day violence against women. Links have written so many, and I quote here some links:

- Another kind of communication: When the monster is in the family

What is I'd like to emphasize is that violence against women is expressed in different ways, often subtle and not recognizable . The thing that we must emphasize is that in most cases occurs in the home or at least by people who know the victim. Who knows how many times the worst could have been avoided: q hese people are leveraging weaknesses, emergency response, that their victims will hardly dare to talk because they feel threatened, or simply fear of not being believed or being judged as 'exaggerated'. If a friend, a colleague, a daughter or sister, or any other woman you have to show that morbid attention by a man who is concerned and distressed at this, do not underestimate what you are saying. Rather than give her support, because it is the only way to put a stop to these people.

How Can Fox Claim To Fair And Balanced

My boss smokes in the office

and what is worse, it does meetings. The window is open, I try to avvicinarmici as possible and to get away from him ... but what the hell? But in what century do you live? I'm not a bigoted, or a health-conscious. I realize that some things are irrational, I eat the flaky skin on lips for example. I also know that in some cases no need to know about the dangers of smoking, I remember when I worked at the hospital were radiation oncologist who smoked even in the bathroom, in secret (witness the cigarette butts floating in the water). Everyone knows that smoking is the leading cause of death from lung cancer, and that is the cause of many other diseases. I understand that many can not give a damn about their own health. But we know that passive smoking is harmful, and for several years now (since 2005) there is a ban smoking in public places. I remember the night before the entry into force of this law: I came home after a night at the pub with friends (just another life ...) and my clothes smelled of smoke as usual ... I said "tomorrow never this crap." Friends remember that heavy smokers were very pissed off then and there, but a few months later, they confessed that they, too, so all in all preferred that from that day were smoking less and that on balance more breathable air to the restaurant and in all other public places was more hygienic and pleasant for everyone. The results from a health point of view of the application of this law then you have already seen ( these slides are very interesting ).
So, smoking in an enclosed space, without even apologizing to his colleagues, is not only an act of rudeness and disrespect, a retrograde behavior. It makes me think of those scenes in old movies in which smoking even at the cinema.

Speech Of Congratulations Of Wedding

Ole Ole, Mister Mandarin ... If

Now he has even learned to peel mandarins and mangirseli all alone. You open the first piece, then he goes near the trash can, remove the peel and throws it piece by piece (we understand that throwing things in the trash is one of the things he likes to do more), then remove the cloves ad uno ad uno e se li mangia.

calling ... A long long train

In realtà sta bene, ha giusto un pò di tosse ma il pediatra says it's better to keep it home a few days and so we alternate between me, the hubby and the baby sitter ...
now at home with dad, so I'm calling to see if everything is ok, and I hear his voice in the background, so I ask me the steps? ". He's not always agree to answer the phone very often say no. Or if it does pass, but remains silent, smiled and answered only in monosyllables. However it was not ever there was me the other side! The thing that amazed me is that we really talked ... I said "potto?" (Means 'ready?') And I asked him: "Have you eaten?" and he "will", "and what did you eat?" faccio io, e lui: "pappa"... mammamia che emozione! E che vocina deliziosa!!! Sembro matta ma le altre mamme mi capiranno...
